Advanced Chord Detection
Mingus features an advanced chord detection tool capable of extracting chords from complex audio tracks.
Select a clip and click on Extract Chords
Chords will be overlaid on the clip. You can toggle to view or hide the extraction.
Edit and Transpose extracted chords.
Sometimes extraction can produce more chords than you need or skip a chord, due to bass changes or extra harmonic content. In Mingus, you can easily manually delete, drag, or edit the extracted chords to achieve perfect results.
You can also transpose the displayed chords while keeping the original audio, making it ideal for musicians playing transposing instruments.
