Mingus supports external plugins for Effects and Instruments.
Open FX or VI on a track to load your own plugins — EQ, reverb, synths, and more. Scan the usual folders, or browse to a plugin that lives somewhere else.
Windows and macOS both host VST3 effects and instruments. On Mac, Audio Units (AU) are scanned too.
