SuperPress is a mixing plugin from Mingus Audio, designed to control level in a clear way.

It combines:

• Three musical EQ bands,
• A Compressor with sidechain high-pass
• Ranger – a Floor / Ceiling level window
• Color saturation
• A Brickwall limiter

Ranger is a manual dynamics stage. You pick a floor and a ceiling in DB and quieter material is lifted toward the Floor, while peaks above the Ceiling are held.

The Color knob ads saturation when you need a more edgy sound.

Level Meters at each stage let you see what happens with the sound level along the path, allowing you to make better decisions.

SuperPress features a helpful ASK mode, where hovering over each section shows information about its use.

This plugin will help you compress and tame peaks in a musical way, or get superloud tracks and mixes if that is your goal.
